There is a new question in the CAP check list for this year, and I believe it refers to pathologist assistants: The question is ANP.11665:Are there written procedures for processing specimens? Does this mean that a separate procedure manual for grossing is necessary?. We used to get by with the next question, ANP.11670 about guidelines and instructions, but it seems like not any more.
