Perhaps a strange question: Do you touch the tissue-slide while cutting? Is this due to the technique with rotary-microtoms? In our lab, we cut with sliding microtoms and take the slide with brushes. So no contact with my skin. Also in the waterbath I avoid wet fingers. I think there is no need for using gloves here.
