Hi Jennifer,
 
I am sure you will get good suggestions for protocols from the many experienced 
histologists here. If you want any of them to wotk well, the tissue must be cut  no thicker than 
3 mm across its full face (thinner if possible) and these pieces should be given time
 for thourough fixation in formalin. Make sure your processor is not overloaded and 
solutions are changed regularly.
