Maybe, it is probably best to cut frozen sections, fix with 2% 
paraformaldehyde for 1 minute, rinse, and mount with Molecular Probes, 
Probe On antifade mounting media, ready to use.

Go to Clontech website and read Living Colours manual on some of these 
issues.
