[Histonet] FISH fading
Hi Histonet!
A colleague called to vent some frustrations about FISH today. This person
is performing FISH, checking the slides, and thinking the results are good.
A few days later when the PI checks the slides, the slides have faded. Is
there a specific rule of thumb for how much exposure to light (sunlight and
artificial) and how much time can pass without damaging the signal? Are
anti-fading agents different? Should he try something other than what the
manufacturer includes in the kit that they are using?
