Re: IHC problem: secondary reaction against sheep

From:Jan Shivers

Vector Laboratories makes 2 biotinylated anti-sheep IgG products (catalog #
BA-6000 and BA6080). You can use their tertiary AB complex after it, or any
of the other (strept)avidin/biotin-based detection systems from other
companies. I use DAKO's LSAB2 streptavidin reagent in my protocol after the
Vector rabbit anti-sheep IgG.

Subject: IHC problem: secondary reaction against sheep

  Dear histonetters,

I need your help again. I'm not experienced in IHC.

Unfortunately, I must to test an antibody against pepsinogen type II from
sheep.
My problem regards the secondary reaction: as far as I know, there aren't
kits to develop the secondary reaction against an antibody from sheep and it
could be become complicated to set up every single step of the secondary
reaction.

What shall I do? Does anybody know if there is a kit to resolve this
problem?

  Thanks in advance
  Silvia
