Such a coincidence. Last week I performed some stainings with the Hamlet-1
ab from novocastra on cryostat mouse tissues (including SJl which should
have less) and on paraffin (rat, human). in none of these tissues I found
specific staining of muscle cell membranes. What I found however on rat
paraffin tissue was a strong selective staining of lymphoid endothelium and
less strong staining on normal small vessel endothelium. To me this is
again a Novocastra antibody which does not perform as it is supposed to
(anyone ever tried the FasL antibody and found a REAL specific staining?).
