RE: PSA antibody dilution
Amy,
We use both PSA and PSAP from Biocare Medical, detection with
Envision
(Dako), and get the cleanest prostate preparations the pathologists
have ever seen.
If you need any further info, don't hesitate to ask

Hello histonetters,
Our lab is having a problem with our PSA antibody. We currently have
it
diluted to 1:2000 and we have lots of background staining and it just
looks
terrible. The method of immuno staining we do is the LSAB method. We
get
our antibody from Dako and the spec sheet says the dilution should be
1:100
to 1:200 with the PAP method of staining. Do we need to use a different
method or different antibody??? We use a piece of prostate for the
control,
should we use a different type of tissue for a control?? Any help
would be
appreciated. Thanks in advance.
