TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST 

DakoCytomation, Carpinteria, CA

DakoCytomation is a leader in development of reagents for diagnostic use and
is the technology leader in flow cytometry instruments used for advanced
cellular analysis.  Our premier line of MoFlo(r) cytometers and cell
sorters, is custom-configured for laboratory needs.  The DakoCytomation
Technical Support Group continues to provide unsurpassed technical support
to our customers in clinical and research facilities worldwide.

This position is part of the Technical Support Group within DakoCytomation's
Marketing Department located in Carpinteria, California.  Functions include
providing excellent technical support to customers, distributors and field
personnel; troubleshooting and product usage information in response to
telephone, fax and e-mail inquires. Assisting in the formulation of
DakoCytomation sponsored publications and occasionally attend trade shows.  

        The candidate must have the ability to work reliably, independently
and effectively as a team member.  Strong communication and organizational
skills are required.  Previous experience in any of the following is a plus:
Immunohistochemistry; Clinical Diagnostics; laboratory instrumentation; flow
cytometry, flow cytometry. One to three years of laboratory experience in
immunohistochemistry or histology preferred.  Degree in Medical Technology,
Biology, Life Sciences or equivalent experience required. DakoCytomation
