Trevigen has a good kit for TUNEL (cat# 4811-30-K TACS 2 TdT-Blue 
Label In Situ Apoptosis Detection Kit).  The instruction booklet 
inside the kit provides a lot about the process.  Also their web 
site, www.trevigen.com.  I had never heard of it either the first 
time I was asked to do the assay and between the web site and the 
booklet I was able to get all the info I needed.
