I am looking for a permanent mounting media suitable for
immunoflourescent staining on renal biopsies. We are currently using
Vectashield from Vector Laboratories and then we seal around the
coverslip with clear nail polish. We are looking for something that
will not move around as much (dry a little harder) but still has
quenching properties. I saw a product mentioned in an article called
gelvatol. Has anyone tried it and could you tell me where to find it.
Thanks in advance for your help.
