I agree with Victor Tobias comments on saying that animal tissue and human
tissue is the same  basic thing.  I have also done both kinds and perhaps
animal tissue is a little more "dry" due to the size of most research
animals however  they are all processed, cut and stained the same way any
human tissue is done.  We use the same stains for animal as we do for human
tissue, plus a few more such as autoradiography   which is done on
radioactive tissue.
