Re: cytology spray fixative and immunohistochemistry

From:Amos Brooks

OK,
I honestly can't comment on the immunocytology of the samples since I am
having a horrible time getting good immuno results with any cytology
specimens. But regarding the spray fixative, I love it. When I was in
cytology using the spray fixative (Addam's Spray Cyte at the time), There
was very little cell loss compared with alcohol immersion. The morphology
was very good too. If the morphology was good I can't imagine the immuno
results to be very adversely affected.
