Re: Florida HT/HTL licensing catch-22
I did call the Florida DOH and talked to two different people and they told me that they are no longer going to be giving tests, that is why things are so strict now. But it looks like I am in the same boat that you are-not eligible as a technician or technologist. However, they tell me that I am more than welcome to send in an application (with the $205 fee) and see what happens. I then talked with the supervisor and she told me that she is going to do some research and call me back tomorrow. I will let you know.
