Dear all in the USA

	You have my and my freinds and colleagues heartfelt sympathy for the
attrocity carried out last week. While the urge is for revenge as
unfortunately has been seen in other parts of the world, Isreal/Palestine,
Serbia, Northern Ireland, this can lead to an ever increasing circle of
violoence with no way out, no winner and certainly no revenge. 

As for Elizabeth's comments on Terry's statement, although I'm sure Terry is
more than able to speak for myself, if you are upset at the less than
delicate language used, this was I'm sure sadly a representative quotation
of what Terry had seen on the internet. 
If you are upset that Terry was saddened to see that the IRA were still
successfully collecting money in NY, then I'm afraid you would be upset by
what many people in the UK think. While we all are very upset at last weeks
atrocity, the IRA have committed many acts of terrorism in the UK for many
years and have been/are to a large extent funded by citizens of the USA.
Hopefully this will now stop.

Living in hope, but sadly not expectation of a peaceful world where people
are not judged on their colour or religion
