I use a procedure that I got from Nicholas Roman:
I embed in Paraplast with a 60 degree C melting point.
I wash and dry my slides before coating with a very thin layer of Mayer's
albumin. I leave my mounted tissue on a
56 degree C warming plate for at least 48 hours. The long period on the
warming plate seems to denature the albumin.
I rarely lose a section.
