"Histology Image Review" by Frank Wilson et al. is published by Appleton-Lange
(which was taken over by McGraw-Hill) and is available at amazon.com. It is
quite comprehensive, being intended for first-year medical students, but
explains cells, tissues and organs very well. Includes both LM and EM images,
and self tests at the end of each segment.
