To Patricia and Richard,

We are not just staining the sentinel node, and, yes, we can stain 15-20
blocks.  We are staining all of the nodes from the axillary dissection
if the sentinel node is postive.  I was told that the treatment was
dependent on how many additional nodes (other than sentinel) were
positive.  Four or more and the treatment is a much higher dose of
chemotherapy. We can only bill x1 because it is one specimen.  So, you
can see how much money we are losing!
