Hi Deb,
I too use the Roche kit. I've found that I usually have to dilute the TUNEL
reaction mix 1:3. Make sure that your temp. is correct for the incubation
and don't let the slides dry out.  I use plastic coverslips that came with
another companies Apop. kit  Hope this is of some help.
