Unfortunately, an extensive perusal of usenet last night found every newsgroup from piracy, through politics, to porn, was full of hate directed against Arabs and Muslims, jointly or severally.
Subject lines such as
"Nuke the F****** sandniggers" were everywhere.
Deplorable.

I was also saddened to hear that the IRA were still successfully collecting in New York pubs last night.

The world is mad.
