we use a 1% aqueous sol of Sigma, alpha-amylase(type V1 B) porcine
pancreas - in a coplin jar for 30 mins at RT, then 5 mins running water and
a dash of distilled before routine PAS.
amylase in current use should be stored in the fridge and replaced after 2
days or more frequently if used often.
