Recently we had some problems with our traditional method in staining the
margins of resected specimens, so I would like to know what dyes are used in
different laboratories.

Looking in the literature I came across the following:

India ink
India ink/acetone
India ink/glacial acid
Alcian Blue
AgNO3
Artist's Pigment
coloured gelatine
commercially available kits
