Jim,

I cut, dry overnight, then start IHC with acetone fixation (there are
antibodies which work better/only  with  paraformaldehyde fixation).
Slides I don't use right after drying I keep in the -80 freezer.

This is what we are doing now routinely, but I know it is not the only way
to get your IHC working. You just have to find out your best way.
