I still use it for GMS and gridley stains. I also use to to chemically
clean my glassware. To dispose of it, I do so just like all the other
chemicals, I call the Environmental Health and Safety Dept on campus. I
always use nitrile gloves when using this. Since my entire working bench
is under a hood, I don't use it under the fume hood. BUT, if I didn't
have such a hood over my workspace, I would definitely use it only in the
fume hood.
