We routinely stain for PI-3 in veterinary formalin fixed paraffin
sections( Unfortunately due to a typographical error it seems to have
been omitted from the test list on our web page -www.usask.ca/pds- we'll
get that fixed up shortly).  When we developed the stain for PI-3 (circa
1992) we found that the then available reagents were not useful for
IHC.  We produced our own polyclonal antibody to PI-3 and obtain great
stains with it.  Before you go ahead and reinvent the wheel, give me a
call and we can talk about this.
