Alizarin Red for calcium

From:Gayle Callis <uvsgc@msu.oscs.montana.edu>

Freida Carson's book gave an excellent recipe for alizarin red for calcium.
There are some considerations on how the reagent is made up, pH is critical.

You could also do a Von Kossa's for calcium, which, in my opinion, easier
to do, giving black deposits that can be counterstained with H&E.
