Seattle Job Position

From:Victor Tobias <vtobias@u.washington.edu> (by way of histonet)

Come join the staff at one of the premier institutions in the country.
UW Medical Center was ranked 13th in the nation among the 1,701 major
medical centers (including approximately 300 teaching hospitals)
considered in this year's survey (US News and World Reports, July 2000).
It is the only hospital west of Rochester, Minn., and north of San
Francisco to achieve an honor roll ranking.

We have an upcoming opening (end of Sep.) for an Anatomic Pathology
Technician. This is a full time position for an HT/HTL. We will consider
those that are not certified but eligible. Work set shifts with an
occasional shift rotation. Weekly responsibilities are on a rotational
basis. We have a staff of 10 and handle approx. 400 blocks a day,
27,000+ cases annually. We have automated H&E staining, coverslipping
and special staining. We assist with frozen sections, interact with
researchers and support on going research projects. Being an academic
facility, there is frequent contact with pathology residents. If you
have any questions or wish to submit a resume by email or fax, please
contact me. I will be at NSH from the 15th thru the 20th and will post
an ad there also.
