Greg et. al.,

As I understand it, the truth and a lack of malicious intent are the
defenses against slander and libel.  I know that other countries have
different laws.  The US Constitution protects racist and hate speech, no
matter how offensive one may find it, as long as it isn't intended to
incite criminal action.

Speaking as a vendor and a newcomer to Histonet, I don't have any
objections to users reasonably describing vendor problems or vendors
reasonably defending themselves.  Sometimes a public airing with a broad
response might be helpful in  demonstrating to a vendor that it may have
problems in customer service that are being overlooked.
