Subject: Anti rat Insulin receptor antibodies, PPAR's, IGF-1R

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone out in the histo-world has worked with
antibodies to the insulin receptor-1 and others, PPAR's (Peroxisomal
proliferator- Activated Receptors) in rat tissues. I am on a project that I
needs to localize these receptors in various rat tissues and of could the
investigator would like it in Formalin Fixed Paraffin Embedded Tissues
(FFPE). I have found antibodies from Santa Cruz that say they work in IHC
but I have yet to see anything specificity at least with FFPE tissues so
far. So if anyone works with these antibodies or other antibodies in Frozen
or FFPE tissues I would very much like to talk to you....I thought I'd send
this message before I go down the long and hard trail of sectioning frozen
tissues that I don't even know if the antibody works or if these tissues
(liver, heart, spleen) will work, they should...Please e-mail me if you can
help, have a good day...
