Dilute the OCT with 2 - 3% sucrose, about 1:1, let brain soak overnight
in refrig, and other tissues for hour to few hours, depends on what tissue
you are working with?  You did not specify and if the tissue is already
fixed in Paraformaldehyde or formalin???  You can also just cryoprotect in
15% sucrose, embed and snap freeze in OCT.
