Amgen Inc has an immediate opportunity for an experienced
Immunohistotechnology Associate to work in a research setting in our
Pathology Department.

The primary responsibilities of this position will be sectioning
paraffin embedded and frozen tissues, and staining histologic sections with
both characterized and uncharacterized antibodies. Additional
responsibilities will include assisting pathologists and other investigators
in the interpretation of staining results, photomicrography, and generating
written reports summarizing findings. Accordingly, the successful candidate
must have expertise in cutting and immunohistochemically staining frozen and
paraffin embedded sections, in the development of immunohistochemical
staining techniques, and in the characterization of novel antibodies in
tissues. In addition, experience with histopathology and photomicrography
are also desirable, as are expertise in the interpretation of staining
patterns and the generation of written reports. A B.S or B.A, H.T.
(A.S.C.P.) certification, and experience in biomedical research or in the
biopharmaceutical industry are all highly desirable, but are not absolutely
necessary.

Amgen offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package
that includes a retirement and savings plan, an on-site fitness center, and
three weeks of vacation. For immediate consideration, resumes may be sent
in confidence to:
