My thanks to everyone who helped me set up Steiner & Steiner for Helicobacter
felis, subspecies of Helico---. In particular to Peggy Wenk, as I
used her method with great success, and was able to mass stain 30 slides
at a time. Now for an antibody to this particular species, the
H pylori antibody (Biodesign, not absorbed to all H pylori antigens) worked
very weakly, not enough cross reaction to H felis to make it worthwhile.
They (immunologists!) are growing up an inhouse antibody at this time.
