Thawing frozen tissue for embedding

Sorry, I need to clarify...to Gayle and anyone else who might respond to my
question about thawing frozen tissue then fixing it in NBF and paraffin
embedding it:

Everything we do in this lab has been with paraffin-embedded tissue.  We
would prefer to use this tissue as paraffin-embedded rather than frozen
knowing that doing this might cause some loss of antigenicity.  So...I
would like some advice as to how to do this in the least harmful way.  The
tissue was not frozen for cryosectioning.

Gayle...thanks for the advice...it is well-taken...and I might end up doing
the tissue frozen if thawing it and embedding it would be too destructive.
