I find that VWR Biotech Markers (cat#52877-453) either in fine-tip or
extra fine tip are perfect. Throughout the paraffin embedding process
the marker doesnot come off at all as long as you let it dry onto the
cassette for a few seconds-minutes before processing. These markers
are great for slides too.
