Dear Bruce,
my experience is only with tissue tek, and there seems to be only one fault
with it, being the cryoconsole which has a polymer surface that in time
bubbles and warps. The other tissue tek components are bullet proof. Yet
despite this my old tissue tek 1 embedding centre circa 1975 with its
stainless steel surfaces is still quite servicable. And No!, you can't have
it.
