Dear Zenobia,

Found an article using BrdU in humans. It was a study of seven people
with cancer of the tongue or larynx (BrdU was used to monitor tumour
growth and in post mortem studies to detect neurogenesis). It is in
Scientific America, November 1998, page19. In Focus-Dogma
Overturned-Upending a long-held theory, a study finds that human can
grow new brain neurons throughout life- even into old age.

Sincerely,
Dan
