negative controls

We often use the IgG isotype matched negative control, rather
than the primary host serum.  Had a publication refused once when we did
the serum method, had to redo all the work, a tedious situation.   In this
case will sometimes end up with a negative control for EACH antibody if the
isotypes are different.
