cryosectioning bony/fibrous tissue

Hello all!
My past experience has been cutting extremely soft tissue. Can any of you
suggest a protocol for cutting semi-bony, fibrous tissue. Specifically,
what temperature works well? Do you have any other hints? I am working
with snap frozen, unfixed tissue.
