Dear Cathy and Diane,
Makes me wonder too since other companies
have had it in stock. I just ordered MMA from
Polysciences with no problems. I would guess
they must get the raw material from the same source. -Sarah, Texas A&M

Hi, Cathy.

I've gotten that same response from Fisher Healthcare recently,
regarding everything from specimen containers to IHC reagents. Kinda
makes you wonder what's goin' on over there.

Dear fellow histonetters,
At the HTC annual meeting, members needed and wanted to know why we could
not get Fisher Scientific MMA for the last six months. I spoke to Martha
Grote in marketing and was told the cause of the shortage was due to lack
of raw materials. Fisher has remedied the problem by havig a backup
supplier of these raw materials.

To date Fisher MMA is now available and they will look into why we should
have any shortages. Hopefully, this will not take place again.
