At this point there isn't one.  They all have their pro's and con's.  If anyone
does manage to make one they'd be rich.

Another Murphyism: The liver biopsy fixed in Bouin's three years ago is the one
that they want an iron stain on........

Dear Histoneters
We are actually in the process of changing our fixation methods in our
lab, and switching from Bouin de Hollande to Formalin. We are looking
for the perfect Fixative solution: morphology and IHC and DNAextraction.
What's the best? I was told that formalin plus zinc was pretty good.
