Thanks everyone for your excellent advice on how to detect Hg deposits in
tissue.  I appreciate all the wide and varied approaches out there in
HistoLand (elemental analsyis, electron microscopy and  light microscopy
staining). The responses I received  from you Histonetters were so timely.
Our lab will be attempting a variety of detection methods. After we spend
time developing and investigating the staining for mercury, I will pass on
any learned experiences.
