We use a software program called Q-Pulse by Gael, Ltd.  Each lab has to 
record its "nonconformances", select the root causes, identify a corrective 
action if needed, perform a corrective action if needed, and do a 
follow-up... all these actions are documented in this software program. 
Each lab supervisor is able to see what nonconformances are still 
unresolved/not closed out in their lab, and the program's in-house 
administrative manager can track problems that seem to be recurring.

The Q-Pulse program also enables us to record training records and staff 
proficiency testing, equipment calibration data, and all of our SOPs.
