You know, I really think that the vinegar is a great idea! I can't think of any reason off-hand why it would be hazardous, flammable, toxic, or bring on any liability. Even the isopropyl can be flammable, and if you told her to use it, you might be somewhat at fault ( though I know a bit of a stretch). In any case, I think that I'll try to remember that in case I encounter any similar requests...
