Still looking for anyone who has worked with polyvinyl 'hollow fibers'.... Fibers are implanted  ... cells grow within...the little straws are removed for processing and staining, but I have found  paraffin unsuitable as an embedding media, to support the fibers, regardless of the fact I have tried every hing from freezing them, to double embedding...must I go to plastic...and if so, which is best...I will need to run immuno's in the future. PS: They cut fin in paraffin in transverse sections...but, do not cut longitudinally...no surprise!
