Can I also note that if you coverslipped your slides aqueously, you CANNOT
remove the coverslips with xylene.
Our newest lab tech tried that.  Her reasoning was that the sections were
paraffin, though she had de-paraffinized them in xylene-EtOH-water steps and
kept them aqueous.
Explaining why she can't use xylene didn't help.  The next time she says she
has eight years of experience, I think I'll bring this mishap up.
Sigh.
