The best option when microwave processing is keeping the paraffin in a convection oven, like one you would dry slides in. If you are reusing the paraffin, it needs to reach a temperature of more than 70 degrees celsius for the alcohol residual to evaporate off. If you are using fresh paraffin each time (very costly with high volumes and not necessary), then another option would be to use a standard paraffin pot to keep the paraffin molten.
