LIB-----I was also trained to disinfect the cryostat after a hep or TB
patient, but we don't shut it down/defrost it.  It's cleaned after every
(most times) frozen with 100% alcohol & at the end of the day it's
disinfected with a spray.  Except with the hep or TB cases--then it's done
right after the case is finished.
