True, but even those of us not required to show CMP compliance are
encouraged to take part and present our evidence of continuing education in
our field.

I think this is a great opportunity for NSH and others to offer more
education for those who now will be required to have it to maintain their
certification.  I see this as a very positive move in the right direction to
promote HT’s as professionals.

The Certification Management Program has been created for those certified
AFTER January 2004, meaning that those certified before have been
"grandfathered" from this new requirement!

Not only how many are paying their dues, but how many are already DEAD or
RETIRED?
Remember that those figures go back to certifications from 1948 (HT) and
1980 (HTL).
I for one am retired (one HTL less from the count!).
