RE: [Histonet] How do you discard formalin that has been used to fixanimal tissue?

From:"Sherwood, Margaret "

We collect the formalin for hazardous waste pick-up.
We've never put it into a red biohazard bag. Once the vials have been emptied,
we put cap back on and throw in regular trash.

Hello,

I used to leave them in the bottle and put into red biohazard bag. Now I am
rethinking about this.
So how do you do this? I appreciate any input.

  Amy
