This is an excellent question.  I would never put more than one patient on
the water bath.  Too many things can happen and you are setting yourself up
to mix patients up.  This is the only time a patient is NOTdentified, is on
the water bath.  Yes, you can compare blocks to match and that is a waste
of time, what if two are so Identical, that you couldn't tell.  To me it is
UNETHICAL  to do this.  I worked with someone that did this and it made me
just sick to see it happen.  Supervisor was informed and she did nothing.
